isactuallyoneofdarknessanddespair.Tonehammerdecidedtoexplore
bothinstrumentsextensivelybysamplingtwosetsofprofessionalCajons
(snareandnon-snare)andthreesetsofprofessionalBongos(small,
mediumandlarge).Werecordedthemasensemblegroups,divisigroups
andindividualsolosets.

Theendresultincludesnearly8000samplesand34instrumentpatches.
Wesampledbothtypesofinstrumentscloseanddry,usinghands,
fingers,mallets,sticksandbrushes.Wemadesuretocoverahuge
rangeofdifferentplayingsurfacesonallinstruments.Bothofthe
Cajonswerealsorecordedwithtwodifferentmicrophonepositions
(internalandexternal),souserscantrulygetthesoundtheywish.
Then,wealsocapturedthe2cajonsandthelargeprimarybongopair
asecondtime,inawarm,slightlywetwoodenpercussionstudio,
justtoallowthatmuchmoreuserflexibility.Andasabonus,
weveincludedaspecialsectionofensemblehandclaps,finger
snapsandhotrodstickclacks.Allinstrumentsandarticulations
inthelibraryhaveafull10roundrobinspervelocitylayer,
andupto10velocitylayerseach.
